As you can tell by the picture, life is often confusing, scary and anxious for those with autism and their caregivers. This comes about when trying to deal with life in general as the autistic or norm/abnormal life for the parent in just trying to prepare your child as best you can for a life in this hard world!
Apparently Easter Seals Oklahoma now offers some adult services.
Teaming up with Sunbeam non-profit all about youth-family and those in need!
Seems there is a support group and adult like daycare type program.

The University of Science and Arts at Chickasha is doing just that. It is the first university in Oklahoma to offer the full range of service supports to help a person with autism obtain a Bachelors degree. This is a big step. They are going the extra mega miles to propose to Oklahoma autism students and families things offered on the East Coast, West Coast, often in the expensive Ivy League schools and a few centrally located costly well known schools.
Wallet-Shock Syndrome parents of those with autism and plenty of times the case throws in few extra sprinkles of “SPECIAL NEEDS SALAD ISSUES” for sad measure. That means a program costing maybe 40% of those other programs is going to get the wide-open-welcome-door-hello-we-will-try-you-for-sure-here-in-Oklahoma!
